Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

1. Where This Policy Applies

This Privacy Policy applies to the Taskora: To Do List mobile application ("Taskora," "the App"), available on the Apple App Store. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Taskora is built local-first: your tasks, lists, and notes are stored on your device, not on our servers, and you are never asked to create an account.

2. Our Privacy Commitment

We believe your to-do list is personal, and that it belongs exclusively to you. All task data — including task titles and notes, checklist items, lists, projects, tags, dates, and voice notes — is stored locally on your device only. Your task data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to any external server under normal operation.

3. Information We Collect

Taskora does not require account creation and does not collect the content of your tasks.

We do NOT collect:

All task data processing and storage occurs entirely and exclusively on your device. Separately, the App uses Google Firebase for basic app analytics and crash reporting, described in full in Section 8 below — this data never includes the content of your tasks.

4. How the App Works

Taskora operates in a largely local, device-first manner:

5. Device Permissions

Taskora requests the following device permissions, each only the first time you use the related feature:

6. Data Export (Optional)

You may manually export a backup of your task data in JSON format through the App's Backup feature, for personal safekeeping or to move to a new device, and import it back at any time. Exported data is stored only where you direct it and is not sent to us. We are not responsible for managing or securing exported files.

7. Apple App Store Analytics

When you download Taskora through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information as part of their platform operations, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not ours. If you have opted into sharing App Analytics with developers through iOS Settings, Apple may share aggregated and anonymized crash data and usage statistics with us. This sharing is OFF by default and can be changed at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

8. Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and App Configuration)

Taskora uses Google Firebase for three limited purposes:

This use of Firebase:

9. Third-Party Services

Taskora minimizes third-party integrations:

10. What Happens If You Contact Us

If you contact us at feedback.sfsk@gmail.com for support or feedback, any information you provide is:

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in support emails unless it is necessary to describe your issue.

11. Diagnostics Used During Development

During development, Taskora can keep an on-device diagnostic log of its own actions, in a separate store from your tasks, to help find bugs. This logging is disabled by default in the version of the App distributed on the App Store, is never transmitted anywhere, and can be permanently cleared from within the App at any time.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Data Retention: your task data is retained for the lifetime of the App's installation on your device. When you uninstall the App, all associated data stored locally is deleted by iOS.

User-Initiated Deletion: you can delete any task, list, or other item at any time directly within the App. You can also delete all App data using the "Backup & delete" screen in Settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data Requests: because we store no task data on external servers, there is no personal task content for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf. All your task data is exclusively under your control on your device. Requests relating to the limited analytics and crash data described in Section 8 can be sent to the email address in Section 10; because that data is anonymous and not linked to your identity, we may not be able to locate a specific record to delete.

13. Device Security

Since your task data is stored only on your device, its security depends on your device's security:

14. Your Data Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

15. App Store Privacy Label

The privacy practices disclosed in the App Store Privacy Label for Taskora are accurate and reflect the practices described in this policy, including the limited, non-personal analytics and crash data described in Section 8. We encourage you to review the App Store Privacy Label for a quick summary.

16. Children's Privacy

Taskora is a general-purpose task manager suitable for all ages and contains no advertisements. Because we do not collect the content of your tasks or any personal identifying information from anyone, all users, including children, have the same strong privacy protections. Parents retain control through iOS parental controls and device security settings.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes that reduce your privacy protections, we will notify you through the App before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
